Well, this morning has been particularly adventurous so far.
I have to leave at 9:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays in order to get to class on time. This morning, I woke up at 8:48, got dressed as fast as I possibly could, and ran downstairs to get my stuff together.
And discovered that my wallet was unzipped in my purse. This was weird, because I never leave my wallet unzipped. Knowing that my sister has a habit of going through my mother's and my purses for money, I checked first to make sure my cash was still there. It was. ...And then I remembered that last night, she was asking me about my ID. She wanted to know if I still had my "old" ID from when I turned 21. I told her yeah, it was the same one I have now, I never bothered to go get a new one - it doesn't expire until 2010 and the law doesn't technically require me to get it replaced after my 21st birthday.
She pouted a bit and then changed the subject, but I remembered that conversation and thought Oh, shit.
Lo and behold, my ID is gone. Yes, that's right, my sister stole my driver's license.<br />
At least, I assume she did. I can't imagine where else it would be; the last time I took it out of my wallet was at Staples on Tuesday afternoon, and I put it right back in my wallet after the cashier looked at it. I never take it out unless I need to use it.
THEN. THEN. Oh it just gets better. I finally leave for school at 9:06, haul butt enough that I make it here by 9:20, and decide to shortcut across the lawn outside the building my first class is in.
This was a bad decision. See, it's been pouring rain for the last two days. I didn't think it could possibly be as ridiculously muddy as it turned out to be... but it was! So then my boots were covered in mud and I had to go to the bathroom and try to clean it all off.
Goooooooooood shit. I don't even know. I could do with a little less excitement right now, thanks all the same, life. x___x
