I went on a lovely bike ride this morning, down to Jarrahdale and Serpentine dam.
On the way back, I could feel something crawling in my left pants leg. I had visions of bees and wasps and hornets and spiders so was quite distracted.
I got home, and jumped off the bike... completely forgetting to put down the sidestand.
I managed to slow the fall so there's not much damage, but it's still pretty annoying.
Rather than getting it repaired properly for $1M, I think I'll just get some touch-up paint for the fairing and maybe glue the crappy chrome-looking plastic thing back in place, we'll see.
What a crappy end to a lovely ride.
