So, I was sitting on the floor with Shaina earlier, watching the cat in the hat, when I realized that she had colored on the TV while I was peeing. I of course, freaked out. With part of the bonus we splurged and bought a 32" LCD TV. Not cheap. So, I crawled over a few feet to get a baby wipe to get it off, and as I was crawling back Shaina stuck her foot out and I crawled over it. I heard a big crack, and Shaina started crying. For those of you who are new to my journal, I've mentioned that Shaina has sensory integration dysfunction. Her pain tolerance is insane compared to most children. It takes a WHOLE lot for her to cry over something physical. The top of her foot immediately looked bruised, and I of course, am freaking out. She only cried for a second, and she got up and hugged me and walked away. But, I'm super worried something might be fractured. So, I start calling Ethan, freaking out. Thank god it was lunch time... he came home and looked at it. I want to take her to the ER. He thinks I'm crazy. When you push on it and squeeze her foot she makes an ow sound, but that's it. It's so hard to tell with her, because her pain tolerance is so high. It's only slightly swollen.

I personally, would rather take her in. It's not like it costs us anything. Everything is free at the hospital on post. Or even off post if it was an emergency.

He thinks I'm totally over reacting, and he says he understands that I feel guilty, but we don't need to run to the ER for everything.

Maybe I'm just hormonal. She's jumping around on it, and acting like it didn't even happen.

In other news, Ethan had a PT test this morning. It was supposed to be an official one, but not enough people could do it so they said it was a 'diagnostic'. He got a 300/300, which he has never done. He did something like 100 push ups, and he ran 2 miles in 12:48. His team leader doesn't even score a perfect PT score. I am sooooo proud, because he didn't even pass the last diagnostic test. His run time was :30 over the limit, which is like 14 minutes and something seconds.

And Shaina just fell asleep in the middle of the floor. Interesting.
